This place is respectable with good CNAs that take time out to help you and show that you can get better and show that everything can be better for you. It’s good therapy, they encourage you and keep you walking. They keep you doing all different types of stuff like motivate you and show you can improve. They have good lunches that keep you going through the day. They have a nice back yard where you can go outside and enjoy the sun and relax and get determined that you can complete your goal. There’s much love here with the people who keep you smiling and laughing and tend to you whenever you need help. Miss Teri keeps you smiling with coffee breaks and activities like building a birdhouse and movie nights with your fellow residents.

I stayed 5 years and they lost 😡 about a thousand dollars worth of clothing. I did have receipts for 600$ worth. Of course the same clothes weren’t available so I ended up receiving useless rags.thanks luckily they didn’t charge my last months rent so that was nice. Watch for Rodney. He thinks your private personal possessions are his business.

I find Glisan Post Acute to be very compatible in assisting patients in their therapy. The rooms are large enough and easily accessible. The nursing care and therapy department are very attentive to my needs and usually I can get someone’s assistance within a few minutes. I find the outside grounds to be large enough and easy to get around. The food is well cooked and presented nicely. The only reason for 4 stars is sometimes the portions aren’t enough. I find the showers to be very compatible for people in wheelchairs and easy to get around in.

Glisan Post Acute is a quiet and friendly place. It’s pretty easy going. The care’s been good. The therapy team’s great too and they take good care of me and they’re friendly. The food is really good. I’m glad I’m here. 4.5 Stars was unavailable.

I am pleased by the care I’ve received. The employees are very nice and have always helped me when I needed it. They kind of joke around so it feels more like a home than a hospital. I haven’t found anybody that is grumpy. I’m just happy with everything. I miss my home of course but they make up for it.

The care at Glisan Post Acute is fantastic. The help is very good, and the food is very tasty. I enjoy the activities they put on here. I’m very pleased with and enjoy the people who work here and also live here. I’m very thankful for living here and for future good times to come

One night several months ago, I fell asleep in my living room watching television. When I woke up, many days had passed, I was in an intensive care unit in a hospital, completely disoriented and (by several accounts) chattering incoherently. A bacterial bug had knocked me out. After having been stabilized, Glisan was recommended to me for its physical therapy services. I’d lost about thirty pounds (mostly muscle mass) and needed a wheelchair. Glisan turned out to be an excellent choice for me. After a few months, I had regained most of my weight and was walking around the facility without a walker. Aside from my string of unrequited crushes on the lovely staff members, my heart, body and spirits were revitalized, and I am back in my living room again.

I’ve been at Glisan Post Acute for almost 2 months and I’ve been taken care of really good. They always get me to my appointments on time. I think the place is up to standards, and the help is on their toes. The food is really good, and physical therapy is really good. When I was at Emanuel, I was deciding between this place and one other. The care giver at Emanuel suggested I “go to Glisan” and I’m glad I did.

Glisan Post Acute has gone above and beyond. I’m amazed at the level of care and overall know-how when it comes to therapy. The people here make it feel like family and not like it’s their job. They go out of their way to make sure I’m comfortable and well taken care of. I feel like Glisan Post Acute has had nothing but my best interest at heart. I am a man who has suffered three strokes and a heart attack. Things looked bleak, and I did not have very many options and nowhere to turn. The staff at Glisan Post Acute gave me hope and helped me get in a position where I can help myself. They completely changed my outlook and made things seem possible that were previously overwhelming and daunting. If any family member were to need medical care, I would recommend Glisan Post Acute with no hesitation knowing they would be in very good hands. I can’t thank the staff enough for all that they have done in facilitating my recovery.

i have not one complaint about glisan post acute. the staff here is very nice and treats you like a person and not just a patient. they really make you feel welcomed and if you ever need help with anything someone is always there to help you. they go out of there way to make sure things get done and it gets done the right way. i never had to worry about anything. the have helped take a lot of stress of my hands. all i had to do was just worry about healing and getting myself better. i would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs help with any of their health needs.

This place specializes in NEGLECT. Do NOT bring your loved ones here expecting them to heal and recover. This place needs to be shut down!

My Uncle spent time here after a major surgery. The people there are very attentive. He is not one to like any type of medical facility, but he said he didn’t mind his time at this one. We appreciate their efforts.

My friend was just admitted to this place and she hates it there are roaches and they are trying to tell me my service animal isn’t allowed

Imagine doctors forcing you into a skilled nursing facility by telling you that you will die if you go home. You enter the facility Wednesday and since then you are constantly choking on the smell of stale urine. You haven’t eaten once since being there. You’ve been so dizzy for the past 15 hours or so that standing up you feel like you’re either going to fall from imbalance due to said dizziness or pass out from it, you don’t know. Every time you hit a call light for a nurse, it takes hours to get one. When you finally do get one to make your request, they leave you saying they will return and that’s the last time you see them for the day. They don’t give you the medication to treat the reasons why you’re in the facility. I’ve fallen 3 times and have yet to get anyone to help me and I it took me around an hour to get up. I’ve had to pee on the floor of my room to avoid peeing on myself or the bed I’m in. They come to clean it up and I watch them squirt hand sanitizer over the urine and lay down towels to clean it! The food is horrible. Whoever cooks the food should be fired. It’s inedible. All of it. My wounds from my surgery don’t ever get cleaned until I yell for it to be done. Constant yelling from staff and residents all day and night. The night shift is miles better than the day shift but it’s mostly the same issues except for one or two staff members at night at least seem like they care and are the most helpful of all the staff. The rest of the nursing staff just try to feed me muscle relaxers so I do nothing but sleep instead of actually dealing with my issues. Yes, this is my hell right now. I would have been much better off going home and risking death. At least I would eliminate the majority of issues I’m facing here. Never send your loved ones to Glisan Care Center P.S. I’ve only been here 2 days so far…
